Lady Floral Brightness and Glow

(Tracy's third poem)

by Timothious

Heart songs sing to me.

As I think of thee.

Like gentle cellos whispering in form.

My heart pounds like thundering storm.

Still a mystery you are to me.

Spellbound is my heart to thee.

Emotions spring forth tugging at my heart.

They charge head long ready to start.

"Only fools follow their hearts." It is said.

If that is true let me be the fool or be dead.

Let me be the shining knight in your dreams.

The Hero that catches you moonbeams.

You fill my every thought night and day.

Upon my heartstrings do you play.

Music fills the air about me.

Gentle and soothing as calm sea.

Like harp strings gentle played

And oils on canvas rightly laid.

Like Autumn colored leaves newly fallen upon the ground.

A smile from you sets my heart to leap and bound.

With fife, drum, and flute.

And certain strums on the lute.

I play again the bard.

Looking for the lucky card.

That makes your heart mine for ever to keep

and no one else's to reap.

For what do I need to do?

To win the prize of you.

I lay my sword at your feet.

I give you the command of my fleet.

Send me on whatever adventurous quest.

I will fulfill it without rest.

Have me sail the raging seas.

Have me bring you exotic teas.

Have me climb the highest mount.

For it is your love that I am about.

Let me call forth the winds of time.

To sail you across the seas of mind.

To pull forth those memories.

Of days gone by like centuries.

I am at your command, heart and soul.

Lady with silk spun hair dark as coal.

I give you all of me.

For it is all I have to give to thee.

Lady floral brightness and glow.

My heart and eyes are full of you so.

Radiantly you shine and gleam.

Even the Sun is jealous it would seem.

For your beauty reflects the inner you.

You project on to this world true.

To hell with those who can not see.

What a prize of beauty are thee.

To what is beauty but a projection of inner-self.

It is what so many men strive for as wealth.

But can not see beyond the body in front of them.

Thus they miss from what very life stems.

There is no price that can bring about this.

Or the worth of true love's kiss.

Many miss this as they are clouded by aberration.

For what is love but true admiration.

When you believe in you.

It shines brightly and this is true.

For it shows upon your face.

It gives you poise and grace.

Dream dreams of splendor.

Of love so tender.

That it brings forth a smile to your face.

At mere mention of its grace.

All you have to do is call out my name.

and I will change the rules of the game.

By the wings of the gods!

I will be in your space against all odds.

For no will-o-wisp can lead me a stray.

No Siren's song shall tarry my way.

No brighten light voice can steer my gaze.

No nymph's call shall burden my days.

For I have given you my shield and sword.

And my strength to wield as a lord.

I give to you all that is me.

And all that it means to thee.

For even the gods have no right to call.

And I will fight them all.

To put them in there proper place.

If even they think of bring a tear to your face.

So, shine brightly my lady of floral brightness and glow.

For even all the goddesses justly envy you so.

Your champion of your honor am I.

With sword and shield to hand when things go a wry.

So think the thoughts that brings smiles to your face.

Adorn thyself in those garments, whether silk or lace,

That make you feel alluring, gorgeous and enchanting.

For it is your beingness that your granting.
